Our Story...

In the summer of 2007, a group of talented, compassionate professionals came together to help alleviate the overwhelming need for options in the current delivery of women's reproductive healthcare in South Texas.

Over the next two to three years, the Collaborative will rally support at all levels to bring the birth and women's health center to fruition and give south Texas women a true choice in their birth and reproductive care options.   We believe that an evidence-based approach, with midwives and doctors working side-by-side, will deliver the most cost-effective, highest-quality care possible, with the best birth outcomes.
