South Texas Birth and Women's Health Collaborative launches online community event calendar

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, February 26, 2008 - The South Texas Birth and Women's Health Collaborative announced today that it has launched an online events calendar.

The online calendar will highlight events related to birth and women's health in the South Texas area.

All events will be screened prior to posting for relevance and to the mission and vision of the Collaborative. Practitioners or organizations who are interested in having their events listed for FREE on the event calendar should e-mail info@texasbirth.org for more information.

Please be sure to include:

• Event name
• Date and time of event
• Physical address of event
• Registration information
• Contact information (include website and e-mail)
• Brief description of event (50 words or less)
• Cost (if any)
